Former Subukia Member of Parliament, Koigi Wa Wamwere, defied the norm and ditched the usual suit and tie while posing for his campaign poster.
Koigi, who is vying for the Nakuru senator seat, donned a worker's overall and held a broom that showed him sweeping away poverty, tribalism, theft and corruption.
The poster ignited a debate on social media with some users lauding the former lawmaker for going out of the norm. Others, however, saw it as a joke.
User @LeonLidigu wrote, "I have so much respect for Koigi Wa Wamwere that I don't know whether to laugh or cry?..Is this part of fagia wote?"
Koigi, who is a former political detainee, is seeking the Jubilee ticket to vie for the sentorial post.
Whether the creative poster is a hit or a miss remains to be seen.
