Former Subukia MP Koigi wa Wamwere now says Nakuru Senator James Mungai alias Jemo should be arrested for 'abandoning' his electorate.
Speaking during a live interview at a Nakuru based radio station on Saturday evening, Koigi said, “Jemo is a visitor in Nakuru County”, where he also criticised the county electorate for electing him.
“Before elections we warned voters not to elect people from outside their area, but they went ahead and elected Jemo. As we speak right now he (Jemo) should have been arrested and jailed for neglecting his people, and his failure to address how his county is poorly spending taxpayer’s money,” Koigi told Sauti ya Mwananchi Radio.
Speaking during the same programme, former Nakuru branch TNA chairman Dr Abdul Noor, said; “Lee Kinyanjui is the best option to vie for Nakuru gubernatorial seat, at least we are sure he has invested in Nakuru. Jemo now wants to vie for the same here, but we can’t even say he is a tourist because he has invested in Thika where he comes from and not Nakuru”.
