[Photo| Daily Nation]Nairobi County Police Boss Japheth Koome has dismissed the 2016 World Internal Security and Police Index (WISPI) report which ranked Kenya Police Service as third worst in the world.The report was released on Saturday, November 11, 2017.Addressing journalists in Sunday, Koome termed the WISPI report as untrue and malicious.The police boss instead expressed confidence that Kenya’s police service is among the best globally. “Kenya police ranked third last in the world is not true. We are among the best in the world,” said Koome.While ranking the police service across 127 countries globally, WISPI looks at the ability of a police service to address security issues in a country, based on four areas of capacity, process, legitimacy and outcomes.
