"If elected to be the next Governor, my administration will be corruption free and open system where people are consulted on their priorities depending on their needs," said Korane.

Korane, who was recently endorsed by his Abudwak community to vie for the top county seat says that the current government of Nathif Jama is full of corruption and this has led to looting of the county resources.

"Due to corruption in the County, you will find that the county resources have been looted and the residents are left wondering. There are no good service delivery for the people," added Korane.

He will be contesting for Garissa County gubernatorial seat in the 2017 elections with the hope of unseating the current Garissa County Governor Nathif Jama.
