Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen has been humiliated online by Kenyans for ‘lying’.
This is after Murkomen posted on his twitter account, a stadium in his county he said was one of the world class stadia promised by Jubilee government.
Jubilee in its Manifesto in 2013 promised to build five world class stadiums in Kisumu, Mombasa, Nairobi, Garissa and Nyeri, but none of the stadium is complete yet.
“@kipmurkomen: Kamariny Stadium in EMC; One of the Stadia under construction thanks to Jubilee Administration!” posted Murkomen, Monday.
However, according to a section of online users, the Jubilee senator was lying about the project since the stadium under construction was invisible.
Others said the ‘praised’ stadium looked like a cattle-dip.
Below are some reactions from KoT:
“Ken Narotso @Worrian123: kindly point out the stadium in the pic
BreadWinner @fishtear: If this stadium was really there, the entire jubilee brigade would be on ground taking pics. This super stadium is invisible
BitKoin @Zedadd: That's an aerial view of a ploughed land, sycophant!
Chris Leo Ngaruthi @Ngaruthi: Can't see it, just land that chopper and take a proper photo cattle-dip lawyer.
maxie weider @quemartis: Thank u for letting us know. Raila will finish that.
Mogo Lam @NyukaBel: The 5 stadiums were to be in Kisumu, Mombasa, Nairobi, Garissa and Nyeri if am not wrong! Kwani Kamari pia was included?”
