Social media users have hit out at president Uhuru Kenyatta for referring to the National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential candidate Raila Odinga as a ‘mad man’.
According to reports, Uhuru during his campaign tour in Murang’a on Wednesday, called the opposition leader ‘kimuguruki’, a Kikuyu word meaning a mad man.
The reports further say the president asked the locals to give Raila a retire and pension so that he can go fishing in Nyanza and leave them alone.
His sentiments did not go well with a section of Kenyans who took on social media to condemn the president.
