Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) on Friday criticized the nomination of former Vice President Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka’s son, Kennedy Musyoka, to the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA).
The endless tweets indicated that indeed a good percentage of Kenyans from different parts of the nation are not happy with the decision of the Ukambani political kingpin to front his son to contest for the legislator.
Earlier on, there were speculations that the son to Kalonzo wanted to contest for a parliamentary seat but he seemingly changed his mind. The nomination of Kennedy Musyoka
who garnered 22 votes out of the possible 26, has continued to attract mixed reactions from different factions. Here
Some of the tweets
that caught our attention. ‘’Ona vituko zile kina Kalonzo wanafanya na hata bado wajaingia serikali –secretary'', said a user by the name Brass. His sentiments were backed by BenjiNdoloKALONZO who tweeted: “#MrYourNameBetraysYou & #FakeJoshua nominating their sons & brothers is actually underestimating the intelligence of Kenyans.’’ Other users who tweeted bitterness in their hearts are: @ellykabu3 who wrote:
Is this the government people want as Kalonzo nominates his son to EALA, nepotism at heart. @moxyladejames
tweeted: Kalonzo is telling the country thay in the whole of Ukambani region its only his son who is qualify to represent Wiper in EALA??
