Moments after the High Court nullified the presidential ballot paper tender awarded to a Dubai based firm, Al Ghurair, Kenyans took, on social media to express their reactions.
The National Super Alliance had moved to court to have the tender cancelled saying owners of the firm had a close relationship with one of the presidential candidates, President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In a ruling seen as a victory to Nasa, a three judge bench directed the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to identify a new supplier to print ballot papers for the presidential vote.
A section of Kenyans have hailed the court’s decision.
