Mixed reactions were expressed online after the self-declared NRM general Miguna Miguna rejected his passport moments after Immigration boss Gordon Kihalangwa surrendered it to court in compliance with Justice Luka Kimaru’s directive.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Miguna accused the government of defacing his passport to deny him his right to return to Kenya.
A section of Kenyans condemned the government for the alleged act while others asked him to apply for another passport.
Below are some responses from twitter users:
@Chucky_Kanjo: They are mocking the court process
@thuopm: Baby, come!!! Apply for another passport! Stop ranting. That one is kaput!
@Otiken2015: advise that ctc of judgment be delivered to immigration boss and others mentioned.
@LunaloRodriquez: Come back faster and appoint me ua deputy we really want to rub shoulders with this illegitimate dispensation that shows Respect to Muratina but Disobeys The rule of law
@JoshuaJerry: It seems the Constitution has been suspended without official announcement, court orders now irrelevant, illegitimate absolute power is dangerous,
@OdenyoThadeus: Yea,. No one is above the law, and they must be held accountable
