Kenyan Premier League limited and Tusker Football Club chairman James Musyoki has resigned from the two posts.
Musyoki tendered his resignation on Thursday morning.
“I have resigned as Tusker chairman so obviously that means that I cannot hold the chairmanship position at KPL. It is something that I had talked about since last year and the club is aware,” said Musyoki.
“Holding such positions takes up a lot of your time and because I have other businesses to take care of, I have decided to step down from my position.”
Musyoki has been Tuskers chairman for close to a decade, and his departure is set to be a significant blow to the reigning KPL champions.
