Tusker football club have sacked head coach Sam Timbe. This came after a frustrating 3-1 loss to Zoo Kericho on Saturday.
The brewers were winless in three consecutive games and sit 15th in the Premier League table with ten points after playing eleven games under coach Timbe.
He has become the second managerial casualty of the season after Robert Matano was sacked by AFC Leopards in February, as a result of poor results.
The veteran coach paid the price for a poor start to this season despite being backed as favorite to lift the trophy.
Timbe will also leave the club along with his technical team assistant coach John Baraza.
Tusker is said to unveil their new coach this week, with surprisingly enough, Robert Matano being tipped to take over at the club.
If the rumours are true, it will his second stint with the Brewers in five years.
