In the verdict released on Friday, the court stated that the application was dismissed for being incompetent with Kenya Premier League Limited the first respondent described as 'Kenya Premier Legue LTD',  while FKF the second respondent is listed as 'Football Federation of Kenya' instead of 'Football Kenya Federation'.

KPL-FKF have now been given a go ahead to release  this season's kick off date after the court temporarily threw out the orders restraining the Kenyan premier league body from releasing fixtures without inclusion of the two clubs.

The court had issued an injunction barring KPL from releasing fixtures until an application that had been filed in court by the fans challenging the relegation of the two sides is heard and determined.

The petitioners have however been advised to file a fresh amended application.
