After a draining first half of the Kenyan Premier League season, most clubs have gone to the market to bolster their teams for the second leg. These are of the major signings to watch;
Piston mutamba
The former Wazito FC goal-poacher has moved to Sofapaka after an impressive start of the season with the Nairobi based side.
Having taken part in Harambe Stars recent friendlies against India, NewZealand and Chinese Taipei, the striker is tipped to be the next Dennis Oliech.
Anthony njeru
The former KCB prolific midfielder has joined Wazito among other five signings. Njeru who is also a Kenya u-23 player is expected to play a big role in wazito’s fight for survival the Kenyan topflight league.
George Mandela
The towering defender who was released by Tusker FC last month has signed for Kakamega based side Kakamega Homeboyz. This was among the clubs first signing as the club looks to produce another good show in the league. Mandela penned a two-year deal with the Kakamega-based side.
Wycliffe Kasaya
The former Kenyan international goalkeeper has signed for 2009 Kenya premier league champions Sofapaka. The veteran left Mathare United and has penned a two year deal with Batoto ba Mungu and is expected to provide cover for Matthias Kigonya.
