The promotion and relegation battles in the Premier League and National Super leagues have gotten tighter, with only a match to play.

Western Stima, Mathare United, Thika United and Zoo Kericho are all staring the axe on the face, while Ushuru FC, Wazito FC, KCB and Vihiga United are fighting for promotion with three games left.

Already Muhoroni Youth has been relegated, and teams to join them are still yet to be decided on.

Mathare United kept their hopes alive with a 2-1 win over the already relegated Muhoroni Youth, which left them on 14th position on the log with 38 points.

Western Stima also bought some time in the topflight league, winning 1-0 against Posta Rangers to stay 17th on 35 points.

Zoo Kericho, who are placed 15th and Thika United who stay on 16th spot will face off in a do or die match on Wednesday afternoon, with both teams looking to pick maximum points.

In the second tier, Ushuru lead with 74 points, with Wazito coming in second with 74 points.

KCB are third on 73 points, two points above Vihiga United, who have a match at hand.
