Kenya Premier League side SoNy Sugar FC has hailed their improvement from their 2017 season despite them registering a slight drop in position from the previous season.
Salim Babu's charges ended their season campaign at position 11 place after their league finale draw of 2-2 against winners Gor Mahia.
The draw however left the trainer happy.
"There has been an improvement from many aspects despite the drop in rank. We ended the two past seasons at ninth and tenth but we managed 11th place this season from a dismal goal difference with Bandari at 10th," Babu said.
"There, however, were positives in our game. Players have shown some extent of maturity and the fact that we didn't have the best start and managed to reverse that in the second leg was commendable," he added.
