Kenya Premier League side Kakamega Homeboyz have benefitted from the recently launched Chapa Dimba tournaments after the team signed two players who featured in the event.
David Majak and Frederick Krop on Monday signed a four-year deal with the Kakamega based side even as the team readies for the 2018 season.
"The two have joined Homeboyz signing four year contracts each. They performed well during the Chapa Dimba tournament and Himeboyz moved in to sign them fast.Majok is still a student and will move to Kakamega High School so that it will be easy for him to study and play for his club. These are good young players and I know with the right guidance they will be successful," Heroes team manager Kenneth Mnangat told Futaa.com.
The team has also set its sight on youngster Brian Kakuto who is set to begin trials with them.
Homeboyz disparaged the 'small team' mentality in their last league campaign chalking up 50 points from 34 outings to finish fifth.
They will be hoping to improve on their ratings in the 2018 season which kicks off in February 5,2018 against the winner of the playoff pitting Thika United and Ushuru Fc.
