After surviving the relegation shocker by a whisker in the just concluded Kenya Premier League season,Mathare United has now rolled out massive trials that they believe will help them secure some of the best talent going into the 2018 season.

The 2008 KPL champions are yet to sign any player, eight days since the transfer window opened and itvua believed that they are hoping to reap big from the trials.

According to the schedule, the trials will begin in Wednesday,December 13 and will roll over to the following day at the Goan Institute in Nairobi.

Other clubs that have since conducted trials include Bandari Fc and Kariobangi sharks who are holding theirs at the Utalii grounds Friday.

The Francis Kimanzi side have however been linked with aove for AFC Leopards winger Samuel Ndungu as well as Nzoia Sugar towering defender Brian Otieno.

Kimanzi had earlier indicated that he was worried over his leaking defence whicj soaked in several goals in the recently concluded season a s well as a blunt forward that could not score goals as the slum boys recorded vone of their worst campaigns ever, finishing thirteenth with 39 points.

Itbos largely expected that the former Harambee Stars tactician will pay attention to these two areas during the trials.
