The Kenyan Premier League is on the verge of signing a broadcast deal with Bamba Sports to air the remainder of the matches starting July.

According to Standard, the first matches will be televised early next month.

The subsidiary of Radio Africa, is believed to have picked up the free-to-air segment of the league broadcast property though the pay TV option is said to be still up for grabs.

The Bamba Sports channel is already broadcasting live the NSL league.

“It will be an initial six-month deal,” a source at the KPL revealed.
