A section of Kenya Premier League (KPL) teams have sent heartfelt condolences following the untimely death of Bandari FC team manager (TM) Alfred Obwaka.

Obwaka died on Wednesday night after suffering from breathing challenges. KPL teams have been sending condolences more so through social media pages.

“We join the entire Bandari FC fraternity in mourning the untimely death of their able team manager Alfred Obwaka Achayo! Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul rest in peace. AMEN,” Posta Rangers posted on face book.

“It's with great sorrow that we receive the sad news of the demise of Bandari FC Team manager Mr Charles Obwoka;Thika United FC wishes to convey our deepest condolences to his family, friends and Bandari FC for the great loss, may God's peace and comfort be with you,” was Thika United’s condolence message.

Ulinzi Stars paid tribute as such: “Ulinzi Stars FC is saddened with the untimely and sudden death of Bandari FC Team Manager Alfred Achayo Obwaka. Achayo was a committed member of the Bandari side for close to a decade and a half and this is a huge loss not only to the club but Kenyan football as a whole. We convey our deepest condolences and stand with Bandari FC at this difficult time. May God rest his soul in eternal peace.”
