Kenyan Premier League (KPL) teams Ulinzi Stars and Kariobangi Sharks will face off in a friendly match tomorrow.

The match will be played at the Utalii Grounds in Nairobi, from 1PM.

“Our Pre-season preparations are going a notch higher as we take on Ulinzi Stars next at the Utalii grounds tomorrow from 1PM. FREE ENTRY,” announced Kariobangi Sharks handlers via the team’s face book page.

The two teams will use the friendly encounter as part of preparations for the 2018 KPL season, set to kick off in early February.

Newly appointed Ulinzi Stars interim coach Dunston Nyaudo will use the friendly match to gauge his players.

On the other hand, Coach William Muluya of Kariobangi Sharks will use the encounter to rate new players the team has so far sihned.

Nyaudo took the reins at Ulinzi Stars recently after former coach Benjamin Nyangweso was redeployed in the military.

Kariobangi Sharks is owned by Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President Nick Mwendwa while Ulinzi Stars is under the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF).

Sharks finished third on the log in the 2017 KPL season with 52 points, three behind second placed Sofapaka after registering 13 wins, 13 draws and 8 loses.

Ulinzi Stars finished a distant 7th with 48 points, after 12 wins, 12 draws and 10 loses.
