Former procurement manager Christopher Oanda [Photo/Business Daily]Kenya Airways procurement manager Christopher Oanda left the company yesterday adding to the long list of mangers reported to have left the company.According to a memo the former manager, who served at the company for around nine years, left KQ on Monday October 16.“This is to announce that Christopher Onuonga Oanda, who has been the head of procurement, has separated from the company. His last day of service is October 16,” said Mr Chepkwony.Catherine Moraa (head of internal audit), Lucy Muhiu (head of employee relations), Kevin Kinyanjui (information systems director), and Brian Mbuti (in-flight and jet fuel procurement) are among the recent exits from the airline's management.These changes come shortly after CEO Sebastian Mikosz received approval from the KQ board to hire five of his expatriates from his former employer LOT Polish Airlines.Monika Kietyka-Michna, Edyta Kijewska-Teny, Magdalena Serwach, Marcin Celejewski and Micha Mierciak are among the five member team hired.Mikosz stated that they would be replacing any members of KQ's senior management but would, rather, work with the existing team to improve operations.
