[Photo/People daily]The Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) is in a somber mood after losing their chairman Kimutai Ngetich who passed on on Wednesday morning after being involved in a road accident.The tragic accident happened along the Nakuru-Kericho Highway when a matatu that Ngetich was in collided with a tractor, KSSSA Secretary General David Ngugi has confirmed.
“We just received that information and I cannot give you the exact details but they say he was moving from Nakuru going to his home in Kericho in a Matatu,” Ngugi said.
This unfortunate incident happened days after Kenyan secondaries schools had just completed the East AFrica Secondary School Games held in Gulu, Uganda where the team excelled picking top position with 28 medals.
