Carol Nderi. [Photo| Courtesy]KTN's senior reporter Carol Nderi has landed a new job in Nyeri county government. Nderi who was a reporter based in Mount Kenya region, has been appointed by Nyeri governor Edward Mutahi Kahiga as the director of communication in the county. The journalist will now serve under the leadership Kahiga.Nderi joins a number of journalists who have quit their careers in newsroom for government jobs. She joined the media house in July 2011.Carol is known to be passionate about human interest stories.Some journalists who also head communication departments in various counties include former NTV reporter Kenneth Mureithi in Tharaka Nithi county and former NTV reporter Richard Chacha who is now the director of communications and public relations in Mombasa County.
