KTN’s Jamal Gaddafi has refuted rumours that he is quitting his media job and heading to politics.
The showbiz hunk has come out to deny the rumours, after it emerged on some news outlets that he was leaving the show to head campaings for Mombasa Governor Ali Joho.
Speaking to the Pulse, Jamal said he is not quitting TV, only that he has stopped hosting certain events.
“I never said I am quitting TV. No! Never. I never said I am leaving KTN neither am I going to stop hosting the Maisha Mzuqa show.
“The thing is I will no longer host gigs as I used to because I feel that my career is shaping up towards a different direction,” he told Pulse.
He said he was only misquoted, and that he will be hosting his evening show on KTN.
Jamal made his debut on TV after he won a reality journalism show dubbed ‘The Presenter’.
