A total of 4,319 graduates were conferred with Honorary certificates in different disciplines of education after graduating in the 43rd graduation ceremony held in the institution.
Present at the ceremony were the chancellor of Kenyatta University Dr. Benson Wairegi, acting vice chancellor prof.Paul Wainaina and the chairman of the council, of Kenyatta University. prof.Shem Migot.
The institution's Chancellor, Dr.Benson Wairegi called upon the graduands to take part in achieving national unity. The chancellor stated this while congratulating graduates during the institutions 43rd graduation ceremony held at the institution's graduation square.
"I want to congratulate all of you for striving to achieve this level of education, this is just the start of another journey. as you go out there make an impact in the country. let the country benefit with your education." said the Chancellor.
On the same note, the chairman of the University’s council Shem Migot advised the students to use their skills in serving the nation.
The graduands expressed their joy, celebrating their conferment of various degrees and award of diplomas and certificates.
With a total of 4319 graduands, 36 were conferred with a doctor of philosophy degree, 376 with master’s degree, 3,023 with bachelor’s degree,35 with postgraduate diploma certificate,574 with diploma certificates and 275 with certificates.
