Candidates who sat for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary School (KCSE) in 2016 have until Monday January 15, 2017 to apply for higher learning placement.

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) said the 2017/2018 placement cycle was on and the institution was receiving applications online.

"The Placement Service is pleased to announce that the 2017/2018 placement cycle has commenced and is currently only receiving applications by 2016 K.C.S.E. candidates through their respective schools/centres,'' said KUCCPS Chief Executive Officer John Muraguri.

"The school application will end on January 15, 2017,'' he added.

He noted an announcement on revision of degree and diploma course choices by the individual candidates would be made at an appropriate time through the media and the Placement Service website.
