The Kenya Union of Post-Primary teachers (Kuppet) has warned Opposition coalition NASA over its calls for product boycott among its supporters.Speaking in Migori, KUPPET Secretary General Akello Misori said that teachers will be largely affected should the boycott crisis persist.Misori warned that the boycott will cripple the country's largest revenue stream, thus affecting the much-anticipated salary increment for the teachers.“How will we get the money if the political leadership cannot sober up and reconcile their thoughts with the existing economic realities?" He wondered. He further called on both sides of the political divide to dialogue to help resolve the current political stalemate."The State shouldn’t assume that all is normal. The echoing voices of dissent is a precursor to chaos," he said."This is why we want both leadership of Jubilee and NASA to embark on consensus democracy," he added.Among the key products, NASA has called on its supporters to boycott include network provider Safaricom and Bidco products.
