The vacancies that are to be filled were the branch chairman, secretary and the Assistan Executive Secretary.

The area police officers who were presiding over the function disbursed teachers attending the function.

This happened after candidates raised concern that their was a plan to bungle the election.

"They were plans to botch the elections reason the police decided to botch the elections," said Tom Ogeto who was running for chairmanship.

His opponent Laban Ouko said that the number of voters could not be established in the register.

"That is why we raised several complaints with the labor officers in vain," he said.

However, the branch executive secretary Albert Otungu refuted the allegations saying the exercise had been called off after wide consultations.

"I can't tell what is going on and what we can say is that the meeting changed chaotic," he said.
