The union official terms the move as diversionary and meant to scuttle their bid for the 50-60 percent pay rise.
This comes as TSC moved to court to court to block the teachers pay and defying a directive by President Uhuru Kenyatta, the Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i and even the Attorney General Githu Muigai's legal opinion to release funds.
Matiang'i had on Sunday announced on his twitter handle that teachers will start receiving there September salary which were withheld by TSC after the five-week strike.
Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (Kuppet) Kisumu branch chairman Zablon Awange said TSC is acting on behalf of the government which he says is feigning innocence.
“The boldness in which TSC is defying directives is amazing and a point to facts that it is acting for somebody more superior,” said Awange.
He said the buck stops with the government, adding that TSC officials should know they are not indispensable. Awange said the commission should be disbanded or top officers removed.
"We cannot have an employer who is against the employees and not solving their issues," he said on Friday in Kisumu.
