Uasin Gishu County Kuppet Secretary General Elijah Maiyo has given area TSC director Beatrice Agala a 48-hour ultimatum to transfer Wareng Secondary School Principal over alleged harassment of teachers.
Maiyo said if Julius Kamatei is not transferred, he will mobilise teachers across the county to camp at the school to remove him from office.
"Despite us presenting our petition to the county TSC director on 16th September 2016 on illegal transfer and harassment of teachers, nothing has been done," he said.
Speaking to journalists after leading Kuppet Official to present their petition to Wareng RCEA church sponsor, TSC director and board of Management, Maiyo said there was poor working relationship between teachers and the principal.
"If our 48hrs grace period will pass without a word from the director we will paralyze learning across the county. We cannot allow our teachers to be victimized "he said.
"In his 18-year tenure, there has been a lot of embezzlement of school funds," he claimed
"We have also written to the anti-corruption commission to come and do their audit," he said.
He called upon TSC CEO Nancy Macharia to intervene and save the situation.
In their petition the teachers Union officials wanted TSC director to look into alleged forceful transfer of teachers, abuse of office, intimidation of teachers, lack of integrity, embezzlement of school property among others.
