Residents of Murinduko village in Kuresoi, Nakuru County are now living in fear due to a dangerous gang going that has been terrorising them.
Susan Kariuki,a resident says that the gang moves with bows and arrows and spares no one in its wake.
"They came to our house one night and shot my husband with arrows before stealing from us," said Kariuki.
Eunice Chebet, another victim of the deadly gang narrated how they attacked them with crude weapons, leaving her husband with serious injuries.
"They attacked my husband in our home, one attacked him with a panga before they all descended on him," said Chebet.
James Kariuki has survived two similar attacks in his home, and is worried about the general security of the area.
"The first time they slashed both my hands and recently they came, four of them, and shot me in my mud house using arrows where I was operated to have them out. I can't do anything now,” said Kariuki.
They are now blaming the police for doing little to help them, a thing the area MCA Njuguna Gishamu agrees with.
"The police are only running after chang'aa brewers and bribes, security is not a priority to them," Njuguna.
