Deputy President William Ruto supporters in Kuresoi North constituency are optimistic that Ruto and Joshua Sang will be acquitted at the ICC today.
Residents at Sirikwa and Sachoran shopping centres said they are awaiting the ICC verdict with crossed fingers.
"We are certain that the judges will rule on our favour, we pray for exoneration of the DP,"a resident said.
Tuesday morning at the twin centres, nothing much seems to be going on, only men clustered in groups with chats of favourable ruling being the only words from their mouths.
"Today we are not going to work, we are readying ourselves for celebrations of good news from the Hague." Ken Cheriyot said.
The international criminal court will be issuing a ruling on a no case to answer plea presented by Ruto's and Sang sang defence teams later in the evening.
