Kuresoi South MP Zakayo Cheruiyot has confirmed that he will be seeking for re-election to represent Kuresoi south constituency in the National Assembly.
Cheruiyot has represented Kuresoi for over a decade now and says he is still committed to serving the area.
"I am committed to serving you and I'll seek to serve you in the next year general elections. Some say I am going to quit but let me assure you I am still your servant," said Cheruiyot.
Cheruiyot has been on record differing with Deputy president William Ruto and joined Bomet county Governor Isaac Ruto in campaigning for Kanu's candidate in Kericho senatorial by-election earlier this year.
He however did not mention if he is still loyal to the Jubilee party.
Cheruiyot was speaking at Kuresoi Cdf offices in Keringet on Monday where he issued bursary cheques to the residents.
