Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has called upon all politicians and hopefuls to make up their minds on the political parties vehicles they will use to vie in the next general elections.

Speaking on Thursday in an interview on Opinion Court, Kuria expressed his sentiments against party hopping and challenged the hopefuls to take their time to study the parties they would like to choose before the nomination period rather than start hopping from party to party after failing to secure a slot.

''You have all the time now to study your party before making up your mind. Lets not do the charity sweep-stake kind of politics,'' he said.

This came only moments after the National Assembly had removed the clause barring party hopping from the Joint Parliamentary Select Committee report despite being called upon by the Cord principals to pass it without any amendments.
