Royal Media Services S.K. Macharia has been subjected to immense criticism following his remarks that defunct Electoral Commission of Kenya (ECK) declared a wrong person winner of 2007 elections.
On Tuesday, Macharia claimed that records gathered by his company showed that opposition leader Raila Odinga beat retired President Mwai Kibaki in the polls.
In his Facebook post, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria took a jibe at the media mogul, sarcastically referring him to retired judge Johann Krieglers report.
“I did not see Macharia at the Kriegler commission. He should have given us a break by submitting his findings then. We are now focusing on something else,” he said.
“The findings of the commission were very clear and it will be in bad faith for someone to come with new findings,” he added.
The Kriegler commission concluded that there was no clear winner of 2007 elections adding that both sides of political divide engaged in vote rigging.
