Controversial Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has continued with onslaught on the media industry and in his latest attack, Nation Media Group senior Editor Linus Kaikai is at the centre stage.
Recently, the unapologetic legislator threw unprintable words at an NTV reporter during Jubilee party nominations in his backyard.
And on his Facebook account, Kuria claims that he will not be intimidated by the Chairman of Editors Gild even though their differences are not yet public.
“To Linus Kaikai, I say unto you. For so long as the media in Kenya has exercised the prerogative of the harlot, the exercise of power responsibility,” read his statement.
Kuria, a close ally of President Uhuru Kenyatta added: “You can use your platforms like tin gods and little despots all you want but I will never kneel to media tyrants.”
Their differences could be triggered by the incident in Gatundu in which the legislator embarrassed the news reporter.
Kaikai is a senior journalist and he is currently in charge of the Nation Television, a product of Nation Media Group Company.
