Controversial Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria now claims that opposition leader Raila Odinga will die immediately after elections.
Both Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta are set to face each other for the second time under four years in yet another bruising battle this August.
And Kuria, who is not anonymous to controversy, says that he speaks directly to God whose wish is to see Odinga lose in elections.
“Let me tell you, I speak with God directly. He proposed to me a deal for you and he said this man Raila if we make him lose the election, God will kill him,” Kuria is heard saying in a recorded video.
He added: “And we have come to make sure Raila loses isn’t it? And lets God do his work and kills him. Today have come with many leaders with me.’
In the corridors of justice, Kuria has been arraigned in court several times over hate speech although none has ever been successfully prosecuted.
Last year June, he was among the eight legislators who were detained for four days at Pangani over alleged hate speech.
