Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has urged political leaders to stop politicizing corruption but instead join hands and fight it.
Speaking to journalists on Monday, Kuria urged opposition to stop blaming the government on rampant corruption witnessed country wide since some of their members are also involved in the scandals.
“The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) should stop blaming the government on failure to curb corruption when some their members have been named in graft,” said Kuria.
Kuria wondered why ODM leader Raila Odinga would blame the jubilee government on graft yet some of mega scandals happened while he was in the government.
He urged leaders to stop politicizing corruption and instead be in the front line to fight it.
Kuria noted that he Jubilee government will crack the whip on all individuals implicated in graft.
The Gatundu South MP at the same time appealed to Kenyans to be vigilant and report instances of graft.
He observed that many cases of corruption are not reported adding that it is time every Kenyan took the responsibility of fighting graft.
