Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has cautioned Gusii residents against supporting opposition leader Raila Odinga in the repeat presidential election because they will lose along with him.
Speaking on Saturday when he joined His Lordship Bishop Joseph Mairura Okemwa and Worshippers during the confirmation celebrations of the Baptism class and prayers day for KCSE and KCPE Candidates at St Charles Lwanga Ichuni Parish Kuria told locals to embrace confidence in Jubilee leadership under Uhuru Kenyatta.
"Let's turn out in numbers on 26 and vote in Uhuru so that we can embarrass the opposition that has brought the country into a stand still and continue our daily development agenda as usual," said Kuria.
He assured the locals that no vote will be stolen as IEBC is currently putting all measures in place to ensure that the pols stands to be free and fair.
The legislator called upon Raila Odinga to call off weekly demonstrations to avoid further loss of property and lives.
Kuria was in company of Nyaribari Chache member of Parliament Richard Tong'i, nominated senator Millicent Omanga, acting interior CS Fred Matiang'i and other local leaders.
