Contentious Gatundu South Member of Parliament on Friday evening bagged the attention of many Kenyans on social media, after inaugurating a football team and lineup apparently allocating duties to members of Jubilee select Committee in readiness to face CORD coalition in talks over IEBC stand-off.
Interestingly, the lawmaker illustrated that Elgeyo Marakwet, Kipchumba Murkomen would join him in the striking pit during the dialogue.
The key position he allocated to himself was criticized by a section of innovative Kenyans who argued that he was not fit for the positions. The Kenyans further argued that Kuria was not fit to join the select committee, citing that he was arrogant and could behave awkwardly during the deliberations.
Kuria positioned KIraitu Murungi, the Meru senator as the captain with Jimmy Angwenyi and Cecily Mbarire playing in the mid-field in the IEBC talks match.
He further placed Fatumma Dullo and Beatrice Elachi, all who are nominated senators in the defense team. The politician also allocated Mohammed Mahmoud, Soipan Tuya and Benjamin Washiali, all who are members of the August house in the team.
The Facebook post which apparently seemed as a ridicule to Kenyans who had hitherto slammed the legislators role in the electoral body deliberations flickered online with many of his Facebook followers bashing him.
