[Photo/Citizen]Kenya Union University Staff (KUSU) Secretary General has warned that Masinde Muliro University workers will not hesitate to remove Vice Chancellor Fredrick Otieno from office by force.
The VC has been accused of misuse of funds, and the workers’ body is calling for his ouster.
Charles Mukhwaya, the body’s Secretary General Say Otieno has been found culpable of graft by EACC, and should, therefore, move out.
“Prof Fredick Otieno, the VC of Masinde Muliro, that EACC has found him culpable for abuse of office, corrupt deals, misuse of funds and intimidation of workers, especially those who have stood their ground to oppose his deals,
He further gave a stern warning to other university officials, saying they face the same fate if they cannot keep a clean record.
He added: “If he drags his feet to move out of office, workers will have the right to get him out. Vice Chancellors like one of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University, he is next, Prof Agong Stephen must start preparing,”
