Nyamoko said the funds will be used to construct new classrooms and toilets in 28 schools in the constituency.

“We have received the Sh2.1 billion from Kuwait which will help us in improving our schools to boost learning.

"I don’t want to see children from the region being taken to far schools yet we have schools in the region where our children will be enrolled to learn like any other school,” he said.

The lawmaker promised that he will not tolerate anyone who will be having intentions to embezzle the funds the previous MPs and him have dearly fought for.

“The funds will be used appropriately to ensure any project to be started in every school is completed before new ones are launched.

"Any cartel found diverting development money to his or her pocket will be arrested and prosecuted in a court of law,” he added.

He challenged parents to take their children for enrollment in public schools because the funds will only be used to upgrade government schools in the region.
