Bomet governor Dr Joyce Laboso has given indications that she might be planning to have her name in the presidential ballot come the  2027 general elections.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on NTV Sunday,Laboso said that she has the required skills and passion to lead on any capacity including the Presidency saying that the same cannot be ruled out and is among her options upon the completion of her gubernatorial term should she secure a re-election in 2022.

''People are asking if I am planning to go for Presidency and my answer to them is why not?I will make the decision when the time nears but i believe it is doable,'' said Laboso who said that she has an ever growing urge to serve Kenyans on a bigger position upon the completion of her every term in elective positions.

''I always have had the urge to go for something bigger after every 10 years and I believe I can make it since i have managed to come this far with the trust and help of the electorate,'' said the former Sotik lawmaker.

She however said that her main motive currently is to transform the South-Rift county formerly headed by NASA co-principal Isaac Rutto.

The former national assembly Deputy Speaker is among the three female politicians who were elected to head counties in the just concluded August 8 general polls with the others being Charity Ngilu and Anne Waiguru of Kitui and Kirinyaga counties respectively.
