Nyansiongo ward MCA Dennis Kebaso who is also the leader of minority at the assembly said MCAs affiliated to NASA don’t respect those from the Jubilee party side, something that will hinder House proceedings.

"Nyamira County Assembly will be at peace and running if only the MCAs especially those from the opposition side who are the majority respects those from the minority side supporting the current Jubilee government. For now there is poor working relationship between the NASA, Jubilee MCAs and Governor Nyagarama ,” he said.

He noted that the latest incident where MCAs from the county failed to attend a devolution conference that took place at Kakamega County should be blamed on the opposition leadership in the county.

Kebaso stated that the MCAs should have one voice so that the development agenda which the governor claims to have for the people of Nyamira County can be achieved.

“We don’t want our political differences to cripple our performance to the people of Nyamira. Let’s come together and forget our political stands to serve the people. The wrangles about who is superior and who is not won’t help us in delivery quality services to the electorates,” he noted.
