Laikipia University students at the Nakuru campus have blocked Nairobi-Nakuru highway.

The students are protesting over the knocking down of one of them by a speeding vehicle on Wednesday night.

The 2nd year student Austin Rotich was knocked by a Royal Rift Sacco matatu and died on the spot on Wednesday night.

Rotich was an Education student.
