Lake Nakuru chopper crash victim Veronica Muthoni (Vero) was laid to rest on Saturday in Kabartini, Bahati in an emotional send-off.
Veronica was among five persons who perished after the chopper crashed into the lake.
Nakuru senator Susan Kihika was among the mourners who attended the burial ceremony to pay their last tributes.
The plane perished into the Lake Nakuru a month ago shortly after takeoff from Jarika hotel in Nakuru town.
The victims were headed to a Jubilee political rally.
The recovery of Ms Veronica Muthoni’s body last week from the helicopter’s wreckage rekindled hopes of finding the bodies of Sam Gitau and John Mapozi.
The search mission of the two is still ongoing.
The other two(chopper pilot Appollo and Kipgeyon) were discovered early last month and laid to rest.
