Lamu West MP Julius Ndegwa is upbeat of retaining his seat in the upcoming general election slated for next month.
Ndegwa who is facing several court cases on Tuesday accused his rivals of being behind his woes, the Star has reported.
The legislator is accused of misusing Sh6 million of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
He said during a rally in Mpeketoni that despite the challenges he’s facing, he’s been able to deliver on the 2013 election promises he made to his constituents.
The parliamentarian claimed his rivals have hatched a plot to use the legal suits he’s facing to frustrate his quest to seek re-election in the August 8, general election.
