According to residents who declined to be named for security purposes, one suspect who was arrested with over 9 identity cards bearing different names at Matutu area on Thursday night must be asked to produce others who have been colluding to sell people’s lands using fake title deeds. ty
“The brokers have been selling lands in the area without involving the legal owners. The suspects in police custody should be arraigned in court for justice to be done. We will lynch them if police will release them,” said one of the residents.
Areas police OCPD Timothy Mwanzia said no suspect will be released before he or she is taken to court.
“No one is above the law and I am assuring members of the public that the law will not bend or favor anyone. Land brokers must face the full of the law,” said Mwanzia.
