The lawmaker said the cartels among them politicians are inciting locals to protest to frustrate efforts on reforms to the land management.
“Some cartels among them politicians are out to incite people to protest so that they can frustrate the efforts being made to reform operations at the Kisii land’s office. Protests will not be allowed because the land registrar Steve Mokaya is not corrupt as claimed,” he said.
The MP said the registrar should be allowed to work to ensure illegal titles issued to cartels are revoked.
“Land titles issued to grabbed land should be revoked from land cartels who acquired the lands using the back door,” he stated.
