The Nakuru County Government has been called upon to urgently intervene and find a lasting solution to an outstanding boundary dispute between private developers and a school in Molo Township.
This follows demolition of several structures by unknown individuals at the Milimani Elite School, last week.
The school Director Jane Kigotho expressed fears that if the dispute is not resolved urgently, more than 50 pupils who are sitting for their KCPE exams would be grossly affected.
‘‘Despite making five reports at Molo Police Station, several structures among them a fence have been demolished exposing pupils to insecurity. I posses legal documents to this land so they have no rights to be making us and the pupils suffer,” said Kigotho.
She also asked the County Government through its docket Lands, Housing and Physical Planning to invite both parties to a round table in order to solve the issue.
Kigotho added that frequent disturbances have created a non-conducive learning environment for pupils, most of whom are sponsored by the Institution because they come from poor families.
